Chicken related news:

A grim Superior Court Judge Michael Annis told 19-year-old James Henthorn to imagine the horrible pain of having your entire body set on fire.

“What you did was something extraordinarily cruel to an innocent creature,” Annis said before delivering the sentence.

Assistant District Attorney Natalie Paine said that Henthorn doused the chicken in gasoline or lighter fluid then set it on fire between Aug. 20 and Aug. 29, 2010. A video of the incident was later posted online, which indicated that there were possibly 15 people who saw what happened. The mother of Henthorn’s co-defendant, James Williams, notified authorities after seeing the video posted on Facebook and YouTube. Sentencing for Williams was pushed back to a later date on Friday.

I feel bad for the chicken. i also want to know why there aren't charges brought against the one who provided him with the alcohol. Hello contributing to the delinquency of a minor. I do believe that is still illegal in the state of GA.

probation! that c***! such a poor innocent creature like the judge said. she should get three years jail! this angers me so much. people who cruely treat an animal often dont get the right treatment. i am crying for that poor chicken! why are people so stupid and dumb. hmmf! maybe they should set him alight..... i mean, what he done was terrible! i hope the poor thing died super quickly....

Just a matter of time before the guy moves on to people.Sure hope he doesn't move by me! Right up their with the guy who stole a neighbors goat(gotten for 4yo),had *relations* then killed the goat.He used drugs as an excuse for his behavoir as well.

And then there is Michael Vick, who after unspeakable cruelty to numerous dogs, "pays his debt to society" and goes right back to his old life. With the blessing of the president. Sad, very very sad.

Did he hit the dog or did another dog cause the pain?

Was it his dogs or others?

Was he nothing more than the man who gave them a place to operate?

But if I go to jail for something then get out I would have paid my debt to society.

A dog was set on fire in Nashville last year. It just makes a person want to cry to see anything in pain like that. I can't think of any worse pain than a burn. The dog was severely burned but did survive and was adopted.

I can't imagine a 19 year old adult, or anyone else, getting just probation. To do that awful thing tells me that person is incapable of feelings or compassion, and will likely continue hurting someone or something again.

That sounds like reactiv attachment disorder or borderline personality disorder. That's a serial killer waiting to happen.

dont know where have gotten this knowledge from but its more fictional than a disney film, even BPD does not routinely feature animal abuse.

am diagnosed with severe reactive attachment disorder, and it has been recognised as present from toddler years onwards-it is still a large part of self, even more so now, having had some drastic upsets to it over the past few years.
will never, ever step on a ant or fly,and will physicaly stop people from doing that,am militantly against animal abuse.
however,am not able to relate to humans at all,and do not care for them in the same way,but have still got morals and will not sensessly attack or bully them either.

have been helped by a specialist in both autism and attachment issues to try and lessen the difficulties -the big issue in own case and other people with RAD is having no concept of asking for help off other people,we woud rather injure ourselves trying to do something than ask for help as that is alien to us.
commonly,we dont relate to humans,we usualy relate to animals and find them safe and predictible.

people who truly have borderline PD are difficult people but as per their diagnosis they are not animal abusers, many tend to keep pets as company instead of people, they will have something else going on if they take it out on animals.

people with RAD who attack animals have something else either on the side or instead of.
in youngsters, conduct disorder is one cause of animal and people abuse, and this can change to anti social PD [what many know as pyschopathy].

as for original post-
the guy who did it and all those who watched it take place are beyond disgusting, they shoud use shariah law to deal with trash like that.
he probably doesnt have any disorders,am guessing they were all drunk or drugged-no excuses there nor even if they did have a disorder, let them waste away in one of the worst and toughest brazilian jails and pay brazil for taking them.

that chicken deserves karma.
at least one comfort to know is that once burns get down to a certain level they burn through the nerves so the pain isnt as bad.
