It's Dh and my anniversary on Sunday, so I told him that I wanted to come and try and get a Silkie or two for my present.

Alright everyone, Keep track of your mileage One of the prizes is goin to go to the Backyard chicken member who has traveled the most miles.

Also if you have a business card (or make one up real quick LOL) bring one along it will get you entered in another drawing.

Well also have one for all the backyardchicken members and hopefully a few more, depending on the amount donated prizes we have.

I have been lurking around, following this thread. We have had two chickenstocks in our area this year. Soooo much fun. Enjoy. We found that spring is a great time to snag newbies. The fall swap, we did more swapping or searching for something special and of course socializing.

My advice:
1. Have fun
2. Bring either business cards or paper to jot down names and numbers to pass out for return business, questions, etc.
3. I set a bird album on my table so they can view pics of poultry on my farm or what that cute little chick they just bought is going to look like fully grown, etc.
4. Take change. Everyone wants to pay with $20s and $50s.
5. Remember to take some water and hand wipes.

I will be lurking on Monday to get updates.

Just got word from Kim (Camelotfarms) she's had a rough morning at the Dr's/emergency room. Lets all hope and "Pray" she gets to feeling better so she can join us tomorrow.
