I agree with you! I am exactly like that. Why can't the news do a nice story for once?

CBS Evening News always ends on a good note, I think, especially on Friday nights (On the Road with Steven Hartman), and on their Monday morning news cast they have "Beg-Knows America," which I always enjoy. They also have their Kindness 101 series with Steve Hartman and his kids which I love but that's kind of random. I'm sure the other news agencies have similar things.

I agree mostly on the books. My daughters teacher suggested 'The Hatchet' to my daughter. Good book, but not for a 6 yo!
