1st Chick from my Hen

I just had to post because I'm so proud of Cloudy, my hen. We've hatched bunches of her eggs in an incubator, but she's an Old English Bantam, and brooding isn't really her thing. She'd go broody for a week and then get bored and stop....well, this time, she has stayed broody and when I went to check on her this morning, one of the 4 eggs in her clutch has hatched! I'll have to come up with a special treat for the new mamma tonight!

Thats Great !!! Our crew is getting big fast, they don't stay small for long. I love the hens going broody and hatching them out. They take such better care of them. Please send pics.
