1st Chicken Eggs..

Hen # 2 same breed golden sex link started today so exciting. Both girls are so proud the white leghorns keep the singing up for a long time.

From the Maran 1st egg maybe 2 fused together.. I watched her lay it she was struggling was red blood on the egg.. but the song was cluck cluck cluck as much as she could produce! Amazing she let me pet her just squatted unusual. They all seem to be ignoring the nest boxes and laying where the ducks lay??

Have not cracked it open..

Today's Collection seem like every other day another hen laying..

and Mister Java, went to live with 5 new hens on a farm with less neighbors.. No more 4am wake up calls!! he will prob have a year or 2 of being the rapist he is before he becomes dinner..

Last 6 days.. Every few days to a week now another Chicken lays!! I should be getting dozen+ a day shortly just from the cickens, The Ducks are like clock work... 1 hours after sun rise done.. The chicken eggs still a little small and they come through out the day one cuckoo maran lays at about 6pm.. still but yummy!!

Simplest way i have to keep track with out damaging the egg if an old price gun and date it labels are cheap.

Note: We have had 3 no / soft shell opps eggs also this week one of the was a double yolk! Feed them back to them!!
