1st Egg. Who Dunnit🤔🐔

I just walked outside, it's 5pm and only 5day into Clukin and what do I see, an egg under the coop, but not in the nesting box. It's white so probably not from any of my 3reds, but probably from one of my 2leghorns. Can I get a Yes Mamm.
The egg looks good, feels like it has some weight to it, pretty clean and the shell is very solid. So, who dunnit, and why not in the nesting box, and what do I do about it???
Since the 1st day at their new home, that evening at 7pm they walked right up the ramp and into their new dwelling and have since then like clock work. All but one red jumped up to roost for the night and at 6am they walked outside straight to the feed and water. I'm pretty sure they're enough space for all 5hens but that same red is still undecided. What do you all think

Do you have any fake eggs or golf balls in the nesting box?
Sometimes it takes a little while for them get the hang of where they are supposed to lay.
And even then you may find an odd nest of eggs outside.
Point of fact: I found seven duck eggs in a hidden nest outside the duck hut yesterday. These ducks are over a year and a half old.

Luckily chickens are a bit easier to train than ducks when it comes to laying in human provided nests. Give it a couple days to see if she discovers the coop nests as a good place to lay. If not shut them in for a couple days and see if she chooses your nest then. Once she chooses your nest a couple days in a row, she is likely to keep coming back to it no matter where she is when the urge happens. At least for the immediate future.

Sometimes an egg takes them by surprise, especially when they first start laying. She'll get better at it with practice.
