1st eggs to eat or not to eat

I didn't eat the first eggs purely because I stumbled upon their secret egg laying spot one day and didn't know how long they'd been there for or how long they'd been laying without me knowing. Once I started checking that spot and training the hens to lay in the actual nest boxes, then we had eggs in the kitchen.

yes we ate it, indirectly. we used it in a meat loaf. plan on eating some bacon and eggs in the morning

I started selling to co-workers/neighbors and from there just word of mouth. My girls production is down, from the colder weather, so we're only getting a few dozen a week. I sell them for $2.50/dozen.
