1st hatch, day 22, vid attached, duckling shadowing?

Sounds like you have some lively ducklings in those eggs. We have 2 new Runner ducklings as of Thursday. 1 more egg to hatch next week. I hope your little ones hatch without any trouble. It's def nerve-wracking.

Good afternoon! First, how are your hens & their eggs doing? New babies yet?
Next, mine are on day 25 today. I haven’t a great idea about how shadowing vs internal pip differ ,look wise, bc… most videos I have found on the Internet of an internally pipped duck is incredibly obvious with the entire bill in the air cell. Is that what an internal pip ALWAYS looks like? OR, could the internal pipp be less obvious?
One of the smaller eggs (call him/her Wiggles as he/she has been very very active since week 2) has been quite today but will wiggle around a lil when I talk to it, not today. was worried so candled & once i candled it air-cell up he/she started responding/moving but on it’s side, no movement. This is the one that has a saddled air cell on one side. It seems to be pushing on the air-cell, slightly , when candled air cell up. I mean, it could’ve totally punctured the air cell, but I literally have no idea what I’m looking for. I can’t tell a wing from bill to be honest but either/or seems to be playing with the air cell.
Both smaller eggs are pretty quite today but have been wiggling like maniacs the last couple days. The bigger egg has been literally rolling around for 3 days lol. I mean, he or she, or they, seem to be having a dance party in there so, not sure what to think of that 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🤣. do you have any words of wisdom, or reassurance, for me? lol. this hatching situation is a form of TORTURE for ALL involved 🤦🏼‍♀️😳😆
Sounds like they are getting ready for internal pip
Yes a real internal is the beak in there
Nothing else will break that membrane
Babies can be wrong way and bruise or pip the other end but you won’t mistake internal pip for another body part
We are day 2 of my broody girl and her 6 babies
All doing really well
She is a great mom :)
All my fingers are crossed for you and the little eggs
Go babies Go

how in the heck are these little stinkers also, adorable! Lol! They are precious, congrats! Hoping I get to show you a new duck mommy some duckling pictures soon ❤️❤️❤️

@Miss Lydia , @New duck mommy 2021 ,
I am losing my ever- loving MIND over these babies LOL. There is something WRONG with me 😳😂😂😂🤷🏼‍♀️. My little feathered babies are still working SO hard you guys! I feel so bad for them bc, after so many days of them working so freaking HARD, how are they not exhausted AND how are they not pipping!? It seems almost unnatural that the poor little things have to work so darn hard
