1st hatch

this is my 1st time hatching my own eggs and i was wondering if i can give them food now or if i should wait?

I give mine at least 24hrs before I even begin to think about food. They can live up to 72hrs without it.

I always have it in the brooder when I first put them in, that way if they are hungry, they have it. I think it cuts down on them eating shavings.

i dont have them on shavings i read not to do that for 3days they are on papertowels for now they are 24hrs now and is it normal for there poop to be green for the 1st few days before they eat anything cuz the 1st poop they made was green
