1st Pieced quilt...Update on page 2

[Chick-a-roos]

I had looked at many quilts, read several books and surfed the internet on learning how to quilt for months! and, I was not understanding the technique or the know how!

So finally on March 6th I took my first class! I only wanted to make something small so I would not get discouraged but I think I'm HOOKED! This is a 36x36 wall hanging. I was so proud when I finished the first block.

(almost as proud when I got my 1st egg!)

I go back Saturday to learn how to put the batting in and hopefully machine quilt this piece!

Everyone here really has some beautiful quilts and hopefully I will be able to do that soon!
