thanks again, everyone. i appreciate the sentiments.

i wish i could get a "clone" of her, but i imagine it's rare for a bird to come running if you tap the side of your leg or walk through a door after work. we talked alot too. ;)

but the copper maran, from what i read has a tendency to be outgoing. so, i thought i'd go that route and maybe get lucky again.

the other three are so lost without her.
 
I am so sorry! I too learned a lesson the hard way and lost one of my girls

I hope things only get better for you and your flock.

yes we all get over confident and ccomfortable and for some reason it leads to losses but take it as a hard learning lesson and yes we have all been there .... So sorry for your loss
