I have been reading and learning from this site for over a year. My daughter and I bought a program in Jan which allowed us to hatch 7 eggs and keep them for a month total time. We loved them so much we kept 3 of the chicks. Two are (we think) copper marans and one is a NHR. They are about 6 weeks old now and I belive my NHR is a Roo! : ( Is it too early to tell? Thank you
and Welcome To BYC! Ya, the NHR (closest bird) does look like a male from the size of the comb at his age. Congratulations on a successful hatch, hope the rest turn out to be girls for you.
