1st time w/seramas

Oh gosh, how cute!! A 50% hatch rate is pretty good for shipped seramas, or so I’ve heard anyway.

I’m on day 6 and after candling in place, I had a few definite clears to take out. Mostly the ones with broken air cells. Out of 18 eggs from 2 different sellers, I have 12 with definite veining and development. We’ll see who makes it to lockdown.

What’s interesting is I only have clears from one seller, the second seller’s eggs are all developing. I’ve never had that with shipped eggs before.

today is lock down day. i centered the eggs ..well in the center ... and put the sponges on the sides near the humidity plugs so if there's any reason the humidity drops i can open a plug and straw feed water on to the sponges. only left with 4 eggs so... here goes!!!

Good luck! :fl

Candled yesterday. 1 had cracked and was stuck in the turn rack so I had to lift the whole thing out and break the egg and clean it well before resting them all back in the Inc.
Had this happen with an early pip on lockdown day...it hatched tho!

y'all we got a pip!!! 1 pipped while i was sleeping today for night work. sooooooo eggcited!!! now i have to (not)patiently wait for to ck on them again - i work 12 hour shifts
