1st time with sick chicken

I didn't see your post until really late last night so I didn't take their food out of their coop. We caught her this morning (she is fast!) and her crop felt hard (it has never felt like that before it has always been squishy when I have felt it the last few days). We put her in a crate so she has no access to food to make sure she empties today. Since she has gotten into this posture with no neck sticking out she has had that lump there which made me concerned about her crop in the beginning but it always felt squishy so I didn't think it was a problem and just assumed it was from her neck being down and pushing it outwards. Now that I know about sour crop, I may try that. What are your recommendations for fixing that?
I'd let her with the flock and eat/drink if she's willing. I rarely ever separate out a bird and opt to just treat while with the flock.

I would however go ahead and give her coconut oil twice today to see if that helps get things moving.
Then re-check her crop first thing in the morning.

Will coconut oil help with sour crop? She is still pooping so could it still be impacted crop?
