i have a 1 week old chick that has had pasty but for three days. I keep cleaning it. She’s a little bit lethargic, she keeps standing in one spot under the heat lamp.

Pasty butt can be caused by a number of factors, including chilling, overheating, and diet. It's critical to treat the cause as well as the symptoms, and time is of the essence with this condition. There are several recommendations for how to treat (and prevent) it in this thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/help-pasty-butt.827/. I feed my birds, including chicks, fermented feed, so they get probiotics in their food...and zero pasty butts. Best of luck - hope your chick is feeling better soon!

Chicks who get pasty butt may be duffering from shipping stress, dehydration, getting cold, or now being in too much heat. She sounds weak if she is standing under the heat lamp. They may get it (pasty butt) every day for a few days, so jeep checking. I haven’t seen it after the 10th day in shipped chicks. Do offer it water or dunk it’s beak several times often for a second or two. Make a small lidful of chick feed made wet with water, and offer it to her. Do you have any Poultry NutriDrench or similar electorlyte vitamin mix, where you can give her a couple of drops daily? Gatorade (roomtemp) or Pedialyte is also good, or you can make some with a tsp of sugar and a small pinch of salt to a quart of water. I am afraid that you may lose her if you don’t get her drinking.
