Made out of a Swingset!

I love it! I've often wondered if anyone had done a swingset coop, as it is the perfect shape. Cool!
I'm actually working an a grow out/breeder coop right now. Got a small shipping box from work, and so far, have painted it and hinged one of the sides for a clean out door. Still need to make a pop door, roost, and vents, and it will be done! I will, of course, post pictures.

great guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a pic of my ghetto run. Its temporary but I had to get the big chicks out! They are loving it anyway and thats all that matters.
It cost me about $3 and that was for the 3 bags of zip ties from the Dollar Store. (Oh and the not quite hardware cloth but still really little sqaures fencing was $15...need more of it. Ive got a hode podge of fencing going on there. Welded wire field fence:free, chain link fence:free, chicken wire:free)

The pallet coop area is covered by a piece of plywood, but we had rain in the forecast so I put the tarp over it since the slats in the pallets arent covered yet.
Have some changes I want to make to the pallet coop such as covering the slats, adding plywood to the front to close it in a little more, a roost (though they roost on the boards inside the pallet).
There is also a plastic dog house with wood shavings inside it in the corner. Dont think they use it much though.

(See the swing set in back ground? Thats next)
Excuse the mess, its been raining for 3 days. They have used up all the grass there, so Im going to move the whole thing. Just figured Id wait till it stopped raining.

Here is a pic of the next one in beginning stage (trampoline legs, much wider then the legs from the frame in the 1st pic). Since it was raining, I figured Id get them in the ground. We dont usually get much rain and the ground is hard here.

I also have a soccer goal frame that I am thinking of making into a portable run for about 2 birds. Thinking of putting the RIR's in it (roo and pullet). When I ever get it done (Im always waiting on xtra $ to buy wood), I will post a pic.

This thread is fabulous! I need to make a small coop for four of my birds that I want to keep separate. I already have the run built but have no money for the coop. This thread is inspiring!

We are making ours out of a transport crate of some kind! My husband is a janitor and finds the neatest stuff! We also used a glass topper off of a broken end table for a neat door!

Inset pulleys allow us to open the door without even setting foot in the run!

I love these and now I am wondering why I dont have something to show for all the scraps my husband brings home from construction jobs. I want a hodge podge coop. Even if I have to hodge podge it myself....
