Do you ever just get the urge, hook that thing on the back of your truck and take those girls to town? That's the picture I want to see! Love it!

sweet! How does one score a cotton trailer? and what did you use for the roof?

A guy about 20 miles from me had a couple for sale that he had bought at an auction. I've always wanted a coop made from one and was super excited when my sister saw this one parked in the guys pasture. My original plan was to remove the cage from the trailer, flip it upside down and make the coop that way. After getting it I decided that I wanted to be different and leave it on the trailer.

On the enclosed part of the coop the roof is framed out and we used tin. The open part of the coop is cattle panels that we cut to fit with bolt cutters.

Yes I do! Our town has a small parade every other year and my dad teases me that I should enter it as a "float" I do move it around the yard some. Since it is so hot here in the summer, it gets moved under my large oak trees for shade.

The only con I have found is they are as addicting as chickens and I am already looking for another one!

I would like to see you enter it as a float!
