I have 6 chicks that are between 2wks old and 3 wks old. I am getting some day old chicks very soon and was wanting to put them in the same brooder. Is that fine?
the other question is along this line... 2 of the chicks are banties and since they are smaller than the others they get stepped all over, do I need to seperate them from the others or keep them together???

You must not mix these birds. Not only will the age difference be dangerous for the young ones, but every time new birds arrive they should be separated for others for a least a month to avoid the spread of disease. Not sure about the banty- no experience!

Thanks. Not sure how hubby will respond to that.
