They look like Cuckoo Marans to me. hat would explain the funny coloring on the legs.
 
The father is a HUGE Rhode Island Red and the mother is a pure Black lorp. I had collected the eggs for hatching. It would be VERY COOL if it was a hen and would lay those luscious chocolate colored eggs! Love Love Love! :-)
