Born 4/9/14.....
The ducks have not been sexed, but based on the tail feathers/sounds I believe "Chopper" to be a male and "Violet" to be a female. I have had them since the day after they hatched. They have been raised inside and handled and cuddled daily. They love the bathtub and come running as soon as they hear the water running. They have had play time outside and enjoy their duckie pool as well. They are very friendly and do not like to be too far from people. Violet (or "my little meltdown" as I call her) tends to get very upset if she does not see you leave the room and will quickly come looking Chopper will follow right along (right after he takes one more teenie bite of his food of course). They had blankets the first week, towels the week after and now pine shavings & a towel or blanket at bedtime . They enjoy very short car rides (I have taken them w/me when I visit friends/family) and are very easy at night time as they know when the lights go out, it's time for bed. They have been very babied and loved and as a result are very social, happy babies. They love to be spoken to and understand "treat" (they have had little bits of watermelon and skinless grapes after dinner). I only wish to find them a great, loving home where they will have plenty of room to play and I hope to find one where they can continue to be snuggled and cared for.
Please let me know if you would be willing to give them a home w/lots of love and room to play. They are beautiful, sweet ducks that will be missed.
Thank you,
Dee
