2 broody mallards won't accept ducklings

ye I took away both of their eggs. The one has finally let them under her. The other is running around the yard quacking and honking about it all, making herself hoarse

Eventually lol. Did you take the fake eggs away from the female who is being kind of respective to the ducklings?

Things are going well for the momma and ducklings. I had put them in a large dog cage yesterday and locked them in and that seemed to work well. She has definitely accepted them. She even had a fight with one of the roosters this morning when I let them out. He got too close!
