2 buff Orpington

My 2 BO's are always bumping chests and slamming into each other. Kinda squaring off. They play with the other chicks too, but what they do with each other is different. Could they both be cockerals?
They are 3.5 weeks old.

I would say to young to determine gender yet! Right now they look like pullets but I would repost in about 4 weeks!

Yes they are a little young. Don't determine gender by behavior... yet. Boys will develop a distinct behavior around 12ish weeks. I hate to say this but your two BO's might be cockerels as I've never had any who have that distinct of combs at that age.

Ok. They just seem so pushy, bossy and they stand taller and play rougher than any of the others. Plus-ugh those combs! Lol

Yup I think you have a pair of Roos there...my buff Orpington pullet is almost 2 months old and doesn't have that large of a comb. Sorry! :/

Yup, I've raised buff orps for many years and all of my girls didn't have combs at that age. Sorry
