Read this you 'll have to scroll down a ways but it will show you how to give meds. Don't be intimated have your dh hold and that way you have 2 hands to use. Wrap her in a towel before hand. https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...nd-supportive-care-updated-5-14-2018.1048620/ I use one hand to pry open the bill the other to put the syringe down far enough it won't come back up and cause her to get it in her lungs. 1ml to start.

Is this what you’re referring too? Fluids for 60 - 90 minutes & then the med?

If this is the right area in the thread I

You've got perfect diagrams and instructions. Don't be scared. I do it all the time with my Eva. I hold her in my lap with a towel wrapped around her. With my left arm/hand I take my index and thumb and pry her bill open and just hold her close to me so I can keep her mouth open. I gently put the syringe on the right side of HER mouth and slowly press the plunger. It will get easier each time because she will grow to know you're not going to hurt her and she'll be calmer. It seems like a big proceedure but it actually takes less than a minute from start to finish. Just hold her secure with your left arm with that towel wrapped around her and she can't move. Don't worry, you and she will get used to it!
