Okay, I have 2 of the famous McMurray rare chicks that are now getting old enough (hopefully) to identify.

The first one is freckles - a 17 week old. My guess was a sexlink roo, but I don't know. I am hoping for an anything pullet.

This is the second, Crazychick a 12 week old. My guess was an EE roo, but again, I don't know.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Both look like pullets to me.

Second one looks like an EE and the first one looks like a Light Sussex pullet.

But Delaware have yellow legs?

That's what's throwing me off with it...otherwise Delaware was my first guess.

Think they're "testing" out the Light Sussex before offering them for sale?

You might be right. The tail feathers look like Sussex and Sussex have the white legs.... Do Marans come in that color? That was my other guess.

I've never seen a columbian colored Maran???

I wonder if they didn't use a mixed bird and put a Buff Orp in with a Delaware??? I mean, that could explain the lighter coloration of columbian in the neck?

PS...I'm a girl! lol!

Well if they are testing out Light Sussex they better keep working on it as that bird looks way to game for a Sussex. IMO
