Oh no. I'm so sorry, that's terrible...I hate it when you're trying to help something, or you rescued it, and some stupid accident happens or it gets swooped up by a predator. : (

Perhaps next time if you can get the chick to drink out of a hamster waterer? That can also be hard for crippled or weak chicks too, though.

I'm so sorry, that's terrible...I hate it when you're trying to help something, or you rescued it, and some stupid accident happens or it gets swooped up by a predator. : (I put a bigger waterer in there because they kept running out.It was my falt.now I know to keep smaller ones in there.I learned from my mistake and that's the important thing stuff like this is always going to happen when you have chicks I have 12 happy heathy ones that my easter eggers hatched themselves I hope I don't get anymore like this but if I do I know what to do.

Yeah, you will definitely make mistakes and unfortunately chicks are very good at finding the trouble you leave for them.

If it makes you feel any better, a while back, when I was first learning chooks, I messed up on a weaker chick. I isolated it in a way that it was too weak to really escape the hotter part of the brooder, and died from exhaustion. It happens, unfortunately, and you have to learn as much as possible to prevent stupid mistakes, but also learn from your mistakes because they're inevitable.
