2 Crazies setting Buckeye eggs today--anyone want to join?

It doesn't matter whether their clean or dirty, I wash half of them to keep the numbers pretty close. Its not 100% random, because if I have a really dirty egg I don't want in the incubator, it goes in the "to be washed" pile.

Only 2 more days .....

I have a bunch of pips today.I can not see mine good because I have a cabinet incubator but I had to open the door today to fill the water.I dont get big spikes in temp and humidity with a cabinet incubator if I open the door and close it real fast.Beside that the humidity is around 60% in my basement right now with all the rain we are getting..Please go away rain!!!!

I thought about hatching in the cabinet (Sportsman). Maybe I should have left them in there! My float valve on the humidity pail is not working right, and it won't refill the pan. I don't know why. It worked last time. I think when I cleaned it and sanitized it, I must have messed something up!

Good luck on your hatch, James!

I dont have a float valve or automatic humidity system.I have to add water to the incubator about every 4 or 5 days.My temperature was about .5 degrees high so mine are hatching a day early I think.Looks like with all the pips mine will be hatching tommorow. They should be fine though.

Well I keep looking in the bator and seeing pips that aren't there. Does anyone else do that. It ends up being a piece of fluff or something.
I think James and I will be hatching at the same time! Mine almost always go one day early so I am on the lookout for pips starting tonight. Then there should be at least one by morning.
I put some White rock eggs in that were supposed to hatch on the 11th in and yesterday one was out and this morning the other is out. All good condition, all absorbed yolk sacks.

They are sitting on the kitchen table waiting to join the world. Humidity is 63% so fine here. The waiting is the worst part.
