2 day old chick won't move and stands still in 1 spot breathing hard.

Bad update this morning, I woke up and heard the chicks chirping and running fast in the brooder freaking out being really loud and I found her convulsing and she is gone now..
I picked her up and held her till she took her last breath and went limp. I inspected her afterwards and found a hole about the size of a dried pepper corn under her vent that looked pretty bad, I guess the other chicks injured her to a point of no recovery and she got an infection or maybe something else. I don't know. but she is gone now. 😭😭😭😭😭

I'm so sorry. Sending lots of love!

I been giving her Nutri Drench but Shes not responding to it, This morning shes improving and NOT breathing hard, but she still will not walk around. i did get her to eat food and drink, and when i do get her to walk shes limping a small bit. I think she got injured by the other chicks. I'll keep updating my post.

dealing with full grown chickens = EZ
dealing with baby chicks = nerve racking,
drives me crazy, why the hell do we put ourselves through it? lol
I have asked myself this question so many times!!! And yet I just keep doing it. Cant help it. I just love being a chicken mamma. I had 2 sick chicks presenting with similar symptoms. One about 5 days after the other. Both were smaller than their sisters. I think maybe thats why they got sick when the others didnt. Unfortunately I lost them both. I treated the other 13 with corid and have had no more sick babies.

Thank you everyone for your support. I'm having the worst week ever. but i'll be ok eventually.
I don't think i can go get another chick. i don't want to lose another one. the other 2 chicks are now seperate so they don't kill each other. they can still see each other from opposite sides of chicken fence but i got to do it till they stop being so aggressive. the eastyer egger is being really mean to my buff so i made the choice to keep them apart till they are atleast feathered.

Being too warm can make them aggressive

the brooder is 2ft by 2ft by 1foot tall i angled it so its not too hot but if i try to adjust it more it touches the wood and gets a bit scary they will shake it and break the glass. I don't got a long cord and it says not to use on an extention cord. my setup worked for my first flock. its a new bulb but just can't seem to get it at 95 but one side is 94 and under the lamp 92 so there is a range

yea my first flock was fine. they did get aggressive once they was 6 weeks and i put them outside. It only seems to be the easter egger that is being aggressive, it seems to attack my fingers when i reach in. the other one runs from me. I have 2 brooders and a coop/run. the chick brooder is 2ft x 2ft x 1 ft, the next one is a 5ft by 5ft cube cage for when they get bigger and need more space, then the coop is 8ft by 6ft by 12ft with a quarter acre run. my whole backyard is fenced in because the VND quarantine we had for the last 2 years in so cal. i didn't want them to come kill my chickies
