    Hi all,
Looking for some advice...we have a cayuga & welsh harlequin sitting on nests. Last Sunday 2 ducklings hatched - they are sooo cute!! Anyway, both mom's are still sitting on their nests and each has about 7 eggs. At what point do we give up on those eggs and assume they won't hatch? I'm worried about them going bad - we had one break a while back and it smelled SO bad! They have periododically rolled some out of the nest but there are still quite a few. We would love more ducklings but don't know what to do!!! Any advice or words-of-wisdom????

    Thanks so much!

My guess would be at this time of year that the fertility rate is down.........I'd guess they would be a no go. Try candling them at night to see if you see anyone moving around inside.
