2 EGGS IN 2 HOURS!!!

From the same chicken! No, I haven't lost my mind. I was outside with her all morning and WATCHED her lay BOTH of them, just under 2 hours apart. I didn't think it was possible, but apparently it is. I couldn't figure out why she was going back into the nest box 2 hours after she laid an egg, then she started making all kinds of noise and sure enough, there was ANOTHER egg!

Now if you can get her to do that every day, or better yet, teach the others how.

I would love to have chickens that could do that every day...I wouldn't need nearly as many!

My 5 month old SLW layed her very first egg and then same thing, two hours later, there was another one! I'm positive it was her both times even though I didn't witness the act like you did (how cool!) because the only two other chickens were one rooster and one silver phoenix who didn't start laying for another month and always gives me white/cream eggs with a much pointier end than the SLW's more rounded light brown eggs.

Anyway, way to go!

HOW AWESOME!!

I had an EE lay 2 eggs in 1 day. But it was morning and evening. I know it was her she was the only one who laid green eggs!
