I think Ravyn said Calls can take 48 hours from pip to zip, so it may be a while. But I don't have ducks, so I'm just going by what I remember her saying.

Regular ducks can go 48, but I don't think Ravyn waits that long on calls. If it gets to a point where you are really nervous, Lucy, call her. I know she wouldn't mind. And if you can't get her, let us know and I'll throw in my 2 cents, as I'm sure others will also![]()
Some people use bacitracin, some use coconut oil, others warm water on a q-tip. I only moisten if the edges look tan/brown and crispy. Keeping humidity up in the incubator is more important to me.
I thought she said coconut oil but I'm not positive... Either way the little guy is happy and resting as he finishes cooking, he couldn't get his nose holes past the membrane stuck to him. Once I got that out of the way he settled down
