Hi, we recently bought two chicks at a local farm, but they were too young to be sexed. They are Bantam chickens, although I'm not sure what type, and from looking at other threads I have a feeling that they are male.

They are around five weeks old, and super fluffy and cute:P

Anyways, I was wondering whether any of you guys could tell which gender they were and, if they are both boys, then do you think we could introduce two new hens when they grow up?

Welcome to BYC! Those are gorgeous chicks! They look like cochins to me. Cochins are great pets.

Its hard to tell. They look like hens in the first picture and roosters in the second.

If they do both end up being roosters then you would probably need more than two hens. Roosters can get along, I have roosters that are best buds, but I have a lot of hens so they don't get jealous. You should have about 5-8 hens per roosters at least.
Hopefully you've got a boy and a girl!

Best of luck!
