Hi All,
I have two baby roos that need a new home ASAP. They have been properly vaccinated for Marek's Disease and hatched on 5/23/18
They both have the same GORGEOUS Easter Egger dad who is the example picture on Cackle Hatchery's site. Their dad is an EXCELLENT flock protector and also loves his human mom and allows access to his ladies. He's friendly toward humans and has fended off predators more than once. He's an exemplary rooster and is quite large, with a crow to match. These boys are ready to go now if you have similar-aged brooder chicks that they can integrate & grow with. I am able to separate them for you as long as you've got other chicks for the single boy to integrate with.
Roo #1: Olive-Egger boy (1/2 French BCM 1/2 EE) is dark blue at the moment with tons of fluff! He's got foot feathers, cheek & beard floof and is absolutely the SWEETEST little thing. He is very attached to being held and cuddled. He cries if he can't see me and runs into my arms when I pop back into the room. He melts for under-the-wing rubs and nuzzles into my neck.
Roo 2: This guy is a little smaller than roo 1 and is just as sweet. He's 1/2 Swedish Flower Hen, 1/2 Easter-Egger and in addition to having cheek & beard floof, he's likely to also have a small crest. He will be a stunning bird! As far as his personality, he's a little more independent than roo 1, but he does like to settle under my hand and fall asleep. He runs over quickly when he sees me and is very friendly!
These boys are meant for flock protection and human interaction for sure! Please let me know if you're interested in giving one or both of these lovely lads a great home!
