2 lonely SLW chicks....

Well only 2 chicks out of 22,but thats what happens when the electric goes out for 4 hours one day, and 2 the next; then your fan quits then after fixing the fan you go to put the styrofoam lid back on only to learn that your 5 yr old has stepped on the lid and busted one corner off so after taping the corner back on the lid this is what hatched....I so wanted at least 6.

i only have one chick , and that will be moved to the broder , to day in about 5-6hurs with an old stutff to culdy up lol

They are too adorable. Love their coloring.

But I think they need something to snuggle. A stuffed animal or a feather duster.

At least they have each other, One of my hens hatched out a lone chick and after a few weeks of him bugging the heck out of her she took off on him and he ran to me. He now sleeps in my bed with me wrapped in a fleece blanket (his wooby) and has for a few weeks now. Try putting a feather duster in there for them to snuggle under. They are super adorable!!
