2 Month Old Silkies, Too Early To Tell Sex?

Can you tell by the tail of a silky at two months. My suspected roo has a perky tail

I think it is still too early to tell for sure....

Usually you can tell by their crown...pullets are generally more rounded on top of their head than roos; though at 2-months they do resemble each other a lot.

I think usually it's still a toss up until you hear it kind of crow or lay an egg....

Sorry, but they are tough to figure out.

I don't currently have any that I'm thinking are roo's, though have seen some of this same activity. It seems as though it is an early stage of deciding who's dominant. The main time I see this is when they are trying to eat from the same area of the feeder.
