Hello, and welcome! If you like your veggie garden, those free-ranging chicken's will like it too. I hope that you will have a way to keep them out of your garden until after your harvest.
My garden is enclosed with a fence to keep critters out, so unless they fly over it, the veggies should be safe! And they'll have plenty of space to roam!

They had a 15 chick minimum and so many varieties! I figure I should be able to rehome the extras, keeping one each of 8 varieties.

You know you can order from MPC or Meyers Hatchery for spring and they only have a 3 chick minimum for one day olds if you don’t want that many. Just FYI!:)
