Best of luck to you!  The key for me was to make sure the broody cage was elevated so that cool air got under and to her belly.  I had it on bricks - at first she just laid down on the cage floor- same "broody" position. So I put the bricks on their side - more air- she climbed up on the little perch I had in the cage.  Gave up trying to keep her belly (and imaginary eggs!) warm.
