2 peahens sharing nest

I have my peahens penned up and 1 had started nesting 1st of July. Less than a week later a 2nd hen started sitting with her. Once in a while one will get off the eggs but not for long period of time. They are great sitters and sometimes overlap each others bodies... is sharing a nest normal and if any eggs hatch will they co - mother the chicks??
 
If they get along generally, they may very well co-mother the chicks. Keep an eye on them to make sure that they do not start fighting. If they start quarreling, remove one so that the chicks do not get injured. "Good luck.
 
They are sisters (and have a 3rd sister too not nesting) and they all get along great but will keep my eyes on them. I also figure if their eggs hatch that they may be staggered. .The nest started with 2 eggs when the first hen started sitting but now have 5 ...
