2 Polish Chickens, Is one a Roo?

Back in april we got a few babies and 2 were white crested polish splashes. At first I thought they were both hens but now ones starting to run up to me and peck a little like the other roosters. It also looks like it has rooster hackle feathers. His crest doesn’t look the like ones on google but hes also only 5 months old. I tried askin 3 months ago and was told to come back now.

Sorry about the bad pics of her but this is the one im 99% sure is a hen. Shes a lot more camera shy than the one I think is a rooster

I do believe that I see rooster saddle feathers in the first and third photos.

Looks like a pullet. At five months it should have more pointy saddle and sickle feathers and not such a round comb.

Going off how they look id think they both are female too but the first one has been sparring with the other roosters and chasing the hens around. Also whenever it sees someone new it runs up to themand pecks their feet and its voice is deeper

I’ve had a hen that did that too. She’s probably just a hen with a bad temper that thinks she’s the boss of everybody.

These are both pullets. At 5 months, a Polish cockerel would have the skinny, pointy feathers in the saddle, hackle and crest.

But if you don't like her personality, you can rehome her just as you would a cockerel. You have to decide what if best for you and your family.

These both look like girls to me as some of the other posters have noted. They have very neat rounded crusts and you wouldn’t expect that in a cockerel even at five months. I would expect him to be crowing by now though! So both are female.
They are gorgeous!
