After searching pictures and charts I'm turning it over to you guys for help. Can anyone tell me what breed these two are? Also I feel pretty certain the darker colored one is a hen but could be wrong so what about both...hen or not?

Looks as though Aseels are not great egg layers but the other is. Unfortunately we got two barred rocks too that ended up being roos so looks like I'll be taking them to the poultry sale and trading out for some pullets.

A sold are not great egg layers, but I believe they are exceptional mothers. But it shouldn't matter, if she was from a hatchery, she should be bred Ford more of an egg layer than a breeder.

I breed for show, and all my birds lay daily to every other day. i have tons of roosters.

Just curious as to why you dont want any? Sometimes they can be lifesavers for free ranging hens. And it's always good to keep two around if you do. Because if they grow together, then if one dies, you don't have to go through the trouble of introducing a new bird to the pecking order.

My family is new to raising chickens so I don't know all the ins and outs but I know I don't want fertilized eggs. No problem keeping them aside from that.
