I bought some chicks from tractor supply a week ago. A few of them are showing early symptoms of coccidiosis; ruffled "feathers" (its more fluff than feather), runny poop (not bloody yet). So I went and bought some powdered corid but the directions are all for huge amounts of water. I'm trying to figure out how much I should put in the gallon waterer that I have to safely medicate them. I read in one place that I need to use 1/2 teaspoon for a gallon so that's what's in there now. But I just read somewhere else that it should be 1 1/2 teaspoons. So how much am i supposed to be putting in there??? Also how long will it take for my chicks to start getting better?
