I am currently raising a batch of 12 chicks that are 2 weeks old. When I reach into the brooder, one of the Light Brahma's kind of jumps at my hand flapping and pecking! It is obviously attack like behavior. Can anyone explain this?

Love bites. I had 2 diff hens I knew loved me, but they would beat me up for attention, I named one Kato, from the Pink panther,

To me it sounds like Horomone imbalance, I currently have a Chick who was crowing at 2 days old, He's 4 Weeks old now

Sues so pretty! They both are and assassin reminds me of my bob!

it could love bites, a lot of mine do it. We’ll see when they grow up.

If it grew up and continued to be aggressive, that would be chicken dinner at my house. We had a barred rock that terrorized all the other hens. Needless to say, she didn’t do that ever again.
