2 week old chicks

You still did not say how old yours are. But get rid of the lamp when you can be around to observe and see how they do. If they are OK at 80 there is a real good chance they will be OK at 75. But you can always wait a week if you wish.

The babies are outside and doing great!

Update the two heat lamps in the coop was enough keeping the coop at about 85 overnight but I brought them back to the garage for two reasons one it’s been damp here and two I have the room why risk it. My chicks will be 3 weeks old on Monday and growing fast. One of them will actually fly up on my hand when called. That being said she has developed a sneeze. Should I act right away or just watch it it’s not bad but every once in a while it started yesterday and with my fifteen minutes of play time I heard it once today more frequent yesterday about 2 to 3 times.
