So i decided one day to breed my paps chickens. Which he had a australorp rooster with 2 australorp hens and 3 buff orpington hens. I hatched 15 out of 22 eggs. Out if those 15 i got 11 australorp chicks and 3 mixed.
So the following chicks grew up
I continued the next year with a buff orpington rooster. With the australorp hens and hatched several of the above hens color. Not all had the same exact color. But one chick stood out. I even googled the breed i mixed but cant find anyone likd it.
Who turned out to be a young rooster. Im unfamiliar with chicken genetics. Which is why im excited to continue this project.
