2 yr old Hen... CROWING?

I have a 2 1/2 yo hen that has started crowing......and I have a cockbird.
She only crows early in the morning along with Woody.
Lost a couple older birds around the time this started, and she's molting/not laying.
Will be interesting to see how it progresses..she is/was on the cull list, but I may keep her just out of curiosity.

They don't actually 'change sex'.....they might stop laying, but can't fertilize another hen.
Just some behavioral changes.

I have a barred rock hen who likes to try and crow too! She's my best layer, and has had this sad "crow" for about 6 months. She goes through phases where she does it in the morning for like a week, then I won't hear her for a few weeks. She never gets any better, lol, maybe cuz I don't have s rooster for her to compete with.

Our dominant barred rock hen, Petunia, crows every morning - it's pretty funny. My husband jokes that she identifies as a rooster... smh. These hens have never been around a rooster.

I have 3 barred rock hens, and 3 bantam hens, all about 2 years old, all great layers, never been with rooster. I went out this morning to let them out of there house and heard a rooster crow, made me stop in my tracks...thought maybe i heard neighbors rooster, although they dont have chickens....so i walk up to coop and heard it, and was like what in the world....so started reading all the threads on this....pretty interesting. These are my first chickens, raised from chicks, and i learn stuff everyday.
