Wazine does not kill all types of worms. Valbazen does. There is egg withholding with all these, both of these wormers... Most wormers are not for chickens or not for laying chickens...
You can give Wazine and then ten days later give Valbazen, or because it works gradually and is safe for first time worming, you can give Valbazen and then ten days later Valbazen again. You must not eat the eggs during treatment... withhold eggs for a total of 24 days..
Use the search here, on BYC, look up "worming" or "worming with Valbazen".... look for dosages and directions posted by dawg53... more recent is better, as we all learn as we go.
ACV helps chickens absorb calcium.. it is good for them. It does not prevent or treat worms or parasites. Neither does DE (Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth)... Apple Cider Vinegar and DE might both be good for health and maintenance, or to reduce some risk... but, clean and dry coop is your best preventative for parasites.
I also dust my chickens with Sevin Dust or Poultry Dust now and then, and sprinkle it in the coop, nesting boxes, dirt, on roosts, etc.
By the way.. Valbazen has to be administered orally, individually to each chicken... it is not cheap, not labeled for chickens, but kills all worms (other wormers do not kill all types of worms) but Valbazen does not kill mites or lice.... hence the dusting now and then, too.
dawg53 is a great resource on BYC, here, for info on worming and other issues.... best to use the site search for more experienced, best info.
Good luck.
