Look at those 10/11 week old wattles!

Frizzled cochins develop different than smooth. Hatchery birds also develop differently than those from breeders.

The comb should be larger on a 20 week old cockerel, but IMO, the wattles don't lie.

I will say cockerel. Update us again once he crows or lays an egg!

For reference, these 2 hatched the first week of April, and these pics were taken 8/8, so roughly 18 weeks? I might just have frizzles with monster wattles...They're also looking for a new zip code if anyone wants to add some monster wattles to their flock...

Hi all!

Still no crow or egg! I have noticed sometimes when I go to pick him up, he squats like the hens do?

I did get a tiny white egg, but I figured it was from one of my other chickens starting to lay.
