curious question: since he’s injured and recovering, will he still molt or, if he already started, will he stop? i’d imagine his body would go “oh, we can’t afford to spend energy on molting, so let’s not do that”
He may stop molting for now and then have an "all at once" molt later. Or he may continue as normal.

okay, that’s what i was wondering. i hope it holds off until later because he doesn’t have a whole lot of energy to spare right now and i don’t imagine it would good for his body

okay, so: i had to give him another bath because he got poop on himself again and this started to stick out of his vent. i wasn’t sure if it was his testicles making a surprise visit or something i should be worried about???

I’m new to this myself...but possibly a prolapsed vent? Maybe if he had poo against his bottom, and if it dried at all it could’ve prevented the vent from going back inside? I’m asking Dr. Google right now

the poop wasn’t blocking his vent, it was down below it from where it had caught on the sling ( I didn’t get it pulled down far enough ).
