20 week old SF, SS, & GLW

Now i’m second guessing. The place i bought them from didn’t give me approx age. So i kinda just guessed when i got them:/ Mine looks more like yours

By the way yours looks after looking at mine maybe more around 25-26 weeks.

Yes that’s what i’m thinking too, between 23-25 weeks for my SF. She hasn’t laid yet though :/

I think yours are a bit older than 20 weeks @CKfarm22 due to comb sizes. Maybe you’ll get some eggs soon!

My SF started laying a few weeks ago, right around the 6 month mark. Still waiting on the SS!

I was able to get some photos but i don’t know if they’re good enough to get approx age.

It's gonna be really hard(impossible) to gauge age within a few weeks by pics.

It's not the cold it's the length of day....they'll lay soon, days are now getting longer.

Onset of lay can vary greatly based on diet and time of year.

Mm i doubt it would be hard to gauge age by pics as you can see the combs. And i asked approx what age not exact

I got them in september but again, i don’t know how old they were when i got them. I’m gauging between 3-6 weeks.

Their diet is 20% protein food and free choice oyster shells.

We also had a cold snap here for a couple days. And by what i’ve read, colder weather along with the length of daylight can play a role in egg laying, that’s why i said maybe it’s the weather here. Because i didn’t have a laying problem last year, and it wasn’t that cold in the winter last year, like it is now.
