Not quite 20 weeks going on 18 and so far only 4 out of 12 are laying so I'm still waiting.

19 weeks, only one of six Marans (cuckoo and black copper) is laying. It's one of the cuckoos, the other two cuckoos look like any day now, but it seems the black coppers will be a while longer. Haven't eaten any of the eggs yet (only three so far). First one was tiny, scrambled it and fed it to them, second was soft shelled and layed from the roost in the night, third was hard but with a soft spot.....Still waiting for her to level out and for the others to get the lead out!!
