I will not ask dh before getting more chicks.
I will NOT listen to dh when, on my way to a swap, he says I can't buy any.
(BTW, when I got home from that swap he said he didn't care and was joking.. meanwhile I had passed up some BEAUTIFUL bantam wyandottes I REALLY wanted.. ARG!).
I will NOT give away all my extra eggs to friends and family, thereby preventing them from actually PAYING for themselves with egg sales.
I also will NOT add a turkey or a duck, and will use all my willpower NOT to order chicks online...
I will NOT bring home new chicks, then later have mixed breed roos to rehome/process (2 out of 3 were roos??)
I will NOT ceaselessly attempt to incubate my own eggs on the grounds that a few *appear* fertile (nothing ever develops)
I will NOT listen to my dh when he says how "fun" it would be to incubate a dbl yolker.
I will NOT name every chicken, whether they are going to be a "keeper" or not (hence the reason that the two mixed roos from earlier are STILL HERE)
